Invite your clients
Invite clients to book and manage visits on your website. Each invitation is tied to their email address.
Before you invite anyone
Section titled “Before you invite anyone”- In Services & rates, choose which services to offer in the portal.
- In Portal & rules, set your opening hours, booking notice, and cancellation notice.
- Choose whether bookings need your approval or are confirmed immediately.
- Enable the client portal.
Set opening hours first, or clients won’t see available times.
Share an invitation
Section titled “Share an invitation”- Open the client’s Portal access tab and check their email.
- Create an invitation link and send it yourself by email or message. Boopity does not send it automatically.
- The client signs in with that email and accepts the invitation, using an email code or Google if enabled.
Keep invitation links private. They work once, expire after seven days, and become invalid when replaced.
What clients can do
Section titled “What clients can do”- See their own pets and bookings.
- Request or book services you offer in the portal.
- Cancel within the notice period saved with their booking.
- Pay online when you have connected Stripe and enabled online payments.
Clients contact you to change pet details. Your private notes stay private.
Cancellations and payments
Section titled “Cancellations and payments”After the cancellation deadline, clients must contact you for an exception.
Cancellation does not issue a refund. Arrange refunds separately; marking a cancellation reviewed does not move money.
Removing access
Section titled “Removing access”Revoke access from Portal access. Archiving a client or changing their email also revokes it; reactivating the client does not restore access.
Turning the portal off pauses client access, not your sitter workspace.
